Fareham & Crofton Vs Hambledon

Fareham & Crofton CC 336 beat Hambledon 247 by 89 runs.

Couldn't have had a better conclusion to the season, league title and undefeated. Well done and congratulations to all the boys who have been involved. Our batting showed all the seasons improvement with 6 batsmen attaining double figures, only 6 wides and 1 no ball shows good steady bowling. star men Oliver Southon 23no and chocolate winner Sam Harrington 24no and two tight overs.

Fareham & Crofton Vs Petersfield

Petersfield 264 for 5 Fareham and Crofton 271 for 5

The hardest match of the season so far for which we turned in our worst bowling performance, sixteen wides (38 runs) seven N.O. balls (14runs) and they scored only 64. Did we make it hard for ourselves. With the bat we were very solid doing just enough, still a very good victory to maintain our un beaten record.

Fareham & Crofton Vs Locks Heath

Fareham & Crofton 338 for 2 beat Locksheath 230 by 108 runs.

Another good performance by the Under 9s. Good contributions by Cameron Pinks 17 N.O. Wilson Neaves 19 N.O. AND STARMAN  Arron Smith 16 N.O. AND 2 for 5. Once again well done to all the boys.

Fareham & Crofton Vs Portsmouth

Fareham & Crofton 326 for 0 beat Portsmouth 229 for 6

Two new members to the team but the results keep coming, a great team effort no wkts lost. Just one wide and three N.O. balls.
5 batsmen in double figures. Elliott Clark 15, Arron Smith 14, Sam Foster 12, Lucas Upsall and Wilson Neave both 21 N.O. Wilson claiming star man adding 2 for six in his two overs. Big well done once again.

Portsmouth & Southsea Vs Fareham & Crofton

Portsmouth and Southsea 195 for 11 lost to Fareham and Crofton 302 for 4

Another fine performance every player adding runs with the bat, then taking eleven wkts including two caught and bowled and one stumping the fielding was only marred by a number of no balls. As a team we looked very good and disciplined in all aspects well done once again to all the boys.

Star man Lucas Upsall 18 N.O. 2 wkts 1 catch 1 stumping.

VT CC Vs Fareham

V.T.C.C.  219 for 6 lost to Fareham & Crofton C.C. 345 for 3.

The best performance so far, more importantly a real team performance. Excellent bowling throughout well backed up in the field.
The batting is improving fast, match star performers Oliver Southon 41 N.O. and 2 wkts, Wilson Neave 27 N.O. and wicket keeper Lucas Upsall 24 N.O. plus a hat trick. Well done to all the boys.

Sarisbury Vs Fareham & Crofton
Sarisbury   U9s 225 for 11 lost to Fareham and Crofton 313 for 3 by 88 runs

A harder game than the score suggests,  Sarisbury put us under a bit of pressure making some of our fielding very erratic. Our normal tight bowling although giving us 11 wkts, conceded  12 wides and 6 no balls. The boundary being extremely large for under nines cricket is reflected in the individual scores only star man Oliver Southon with 23 N.O. breaking into double figures. It leaves us four from four, a great start boys well done.

Fareham & Crofton Vs Burridge

F&C Under nines defeated Burridge Under nines by seventy eight runs, and for the second week running a very very good team performance. We do have a lot to learn about batting but the bowling and fielding was a pleasure to watch. Oliver Southon with 20 Cameron Rumbles with 21 close the inning well, but my champagne performer was Elliott Clark with 12 runs two catches and two run - outs. Well done on a good win.

Portsmouth Community V Fareham

A pleasing start to the season a win is a win, the opposition may not have been of the highest standard but you can only beat what's in front of you. With half of my team having there first game I was pleased with lots of aspects, bowling only nine wides and good fielding were a big bonus. Well done to all the boys.
